Upon completion, the participant will be able to list the key components of the hospital-onset bacteremia and fungemia (HOB) metric and its significance in hospital surveillance of bloodstream infections (BSI).
Upon completion, the participant will be able to describe the process of automated reporting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in monitoring and responding to hospital-acquired bloodstream infections (HOBSI).
Upon completion, the participant will be able to conduct effective interventions and improvements in care practices to reduce HOBSI rates and enhance patient safety.
