Getting Around the City 

The Phoenix International Airport (PHX) is just a short flight from 2 major international hubs, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Houston International Airport. The international airport has 40 non-stop destinations and is just 10 minutes from downtown. 
 
PHX Sky Train / Valley Metro Rail
To get to the Phoenix Convention Center from the PHX Airport, take the free PHX Sky Train® from Terminal 3 or 4 to the 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station. From there, follow the walkway with moving sidewalks on level 2 to the elevator and escalator down to the Valley Metro Rail platform at 44th Street and Washington. Take the metro rail and get off at the 3rd Street/Washington stop. The Phoenix Convention Center is within a 5 minute walk.

Taxis
Taxis are readily available at the airport. A typical fare from the PHX airport to downtown area is $17 (15-25 minutes travel time). 
 
Ride Share
Both Uber and Lyft operate in Phoenix. These app-based services connect visitors with resident drivers. Make sure you download the app to request a ride.
