Tamara Beehler, MSN, RN is a Senior Clinical Education Consultant at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), where she has dedicated 17 years to advancing healthcare standards. Throughout her tenure, she has held various roles, including Sales and Corporate Accounts, bringing a wealth of clinical and sales expertise to her work. Tamara is responsible for developing Professional Education materials in collaboration with ASP's Chief Medical and Scientific Officer.
Before joining ASP, Tamara served as the Director of Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy in Mooresville, NC, overseeing Surgery, Endoscopy, Bariatrics, PACU, and Sterile Processing. Her leadership in these areas has been pivotal in maintaining the highest safety standards for patients. Tamara's expertise in scope reprocessing and general sterile processing has been instrumental in ensuring patient safety.
Tamara is a past President of the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (NC SGNA) chapter and actively participates in SGNA, APIC, AHVAP, and HSPA. Her commitment to professional organizations underscores her dedication to continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare.
Tamara earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Winston-Salem State University in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing Education with honors from Walden University in 2013. With over 25 years of experience in Clinical Education, Tamara is passionate about sharing her knowledge and advocating for patient safety.
