Ms. Caffery is the Infection Prevention Coordinator at MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, IA. She is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, INC, Eastern Iowa Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, American Nurses’ Association, Iowa Nurses’ Association, Sigma Theta Tau. Ms. Caffery currently serves on the APIC Board of Directors as treasurer and is a Clinical Editor for the APIC Text-On-line.
She maintains certification in Infection Prevention and Control through CBIC and in Medical-Surgical Nursing through the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center. In 2016 she received recognition as an APIC Fellow.
