Kristi Felix, MSN, RN, CRRN, CIC, LTC-CIP, FAPIC. Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Infection Prevention Manager. I have worked in infection prevention in the post-acute setting for 38 years, including LTACH, rehabilitation hospital settings and LTC. I am a Fellow of APIC and earned CIC and LTC-CIP through CBIC. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse through RNCB. I currently serve on the CBIC Test Review Committee and am a Director on the Board for National APIC. I am a Board Member for the Nebraska Infection Control Network and a member of the APIC Nebraska Chapter where I have served on the Board as President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and on the education committee. Over the past 23 years I have had the opportunity to serve as National APIC SME and Faculty for various projects with CDC and AHRQ, and was an instructor for the LTC Infection Prevention Certification Course.
