Heather Stoltzfus, MPH, RN, CIC is the founder and lead consultant of Broad Street Prevention, LLC and serves as the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA). She is also a research nurse program mangaer for Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Infectious Disease, exploring innovative strategies to prevent infection. A nurse, epidemiologist, and IP consultant, Heather brings over a decade of combined experience in infection prevention and public health. Her work spans hospitals, long-term care, global health initiatives, and legal consulting, helping organizations navigate infectious threats and regulatory expectations with confidence.
Heather is known for blending scientific rigor with human-centered strategy—whether leading outbreak investigations, performing a faciltiy gap analysis, or crafting infection prevention programs that cross borders. A dynamic speaker and educator, she is passionate about advancing patient safety, reducing harm, and reimagining infection prevention globally through the lens of behavior, systems, and equity.
