Jane Rasner, MSN, RN, PHN, MS, CIC is an Infection Preventionist with the Infection Prevention and Control team at Children's Minnesota. She obtained her Master of Science in Environmental Health with a focus in infectious disease from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Catherine University. Prior to becoming an IP, Jane worked at the Minnesota Department of Health in foodborne disease surveillance, at Medtronic in pre-clinical medical device research, and as an emergency department nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center throughout much of the pandemic. Outside of work, she enjoys camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), Olympic weightlifting, riding her horse, scuba diving, traveling, and baking.
