Paul has been practicing Infection Prevention (IP) for 8 years and is board certified fellow of APIC. He started his healthcare career as a Nurse Technician where he provided patient care with nursing and medical staff. He's worked previously as an IP at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and is currently serving as an IP at Yale New Haven Hospital. Throughout his IP career, he currently serves as a member on multiple committees including but not limited to APIC National IP Academic Pathway, Connecticut Hospital Association IP Meeting Group, and APIC New England Chapter Executive Board as Secretary. He holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University and a Master’s in Public Health from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also involved in multiple public health and medical research projects that focused in areas of Infection Prevention, Behavioral Health, and Ophthalmology.
