Dr. Hager Mewafy, MD, CIC is an Infection Control Consultant at Cairo University Hospitals and a Lecturer of Microbiology. She is certified in infection control (CIC) and has extensive experience in clinical microbiology, hospital infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Mewafy is also pursuing a fellowship in infection control, further enhancing her expertise in the field. She has contributed to multiple research studies focusing on antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections, and innovative disinfection strategies.
