Kish started her Infection Prevention career in 2010 at a community hospital in Rockville, Maryland. She joined the Infection Prevention (IP) team at the University of Maryland Medical Center – Downtown Campus in 2015 where she became Senior Infection Preventionist and, later, Manager for IP at the Midtown Campus. She also served as Lead Infection Preventionist for the Baltimore City Convention Center Field Hospital in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kish joined MedStar Health in 2022 as the Senior Manager for Infection Prevention. In her current role, Kish leads various interdisciplinary infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Kish has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Cebu, Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 2002.
She is currently serving her second term as Secretary of the Greater Baltimore APIC Chapter and has co-authored several articles in peer reviewed journals.
