Amy has been a passionate member of the Infection Prevention community for more than 15 years. Starting with a Masters in Public health from the University of Michigan, she now resides in the beautiful state of Alaska. She honored to be a serving as the Senior Manager of Infection Prevention for the acute care, critical access, long term care, and long term acute care facilities of Providence Health System within Alaska. She is the current secretary of Alaska’s Midnight Sun APIC chapter, serving on the board with her wonderful co-presenter Aayushi Chheda. In 2021 she was a recipient of Lifepoint’s LifePoint Mercy Award. She was also the Inaugural recipient of the Dr. Julianne Kirkham Award, paying tribute to those who create a positive ripple effect by believing that our own lives become better as we help others’ lives become better.
