Autumn Joanow is an epidemiologist with the Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program at the Tennessee Department of Health. She earned her BS in nuclear medicine technology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. After this, she obtained a Master of Public Health and a graduate certificate in Emergency Management and Disaster Sciences from Western Kentucky University. Before joining the HAI/AR team she worked as an Emergency Management Planner for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. As part of the HAI/AR program, Autumn currently assists with the development and delivery of Injectable Drug Diversion Workshops and functions as the MDRO Transition Coordinator.
