Infection Preventionist

Erin Marney, MPH, is a budding Infection Preventionist at Children's Hospital of New Orleans. She received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Erin has a background in infectious disease surveillance, with an emphasis on COVID-19 and sexually transmitted infections. She is passionate about contextualizing health disparities to reflect the interaction between social determinants of health and infectious disease. Erin is currently leading projects regarding central line infection reduction, proactive safety, and infection prevention in the ambulatory setting.
