HAI Reporting Program Representative

Anna Yeo is a dedicated infection preventionist with experience in both ambulatory services and inpatient settings. She currently serves as a Hospital-Acquired Infection Reporting Program Representative at the New York State Department of Health. In this role, she ensures the accuracy of hospital-acquired infection (HAI) data, promotes the appropriate use of NHSN surveillance criteria, supports quality improvement and infection control initiatives in NYS hospitals, and provides the public with accurate, reliable HAI data for fair comparisons of infection rates. Anna has extensive experience in implementing and monitoring infection prevention procedures, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and educating healthcare professionals on infection control standards and best practices to reduce infection risks. She holds a certification in infection control (CIC) and a Master of Business Administration in Health Services Management.
