Ndubuisi Eke-Okoro is the Manager of Infection Control at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center & Children Hospital of New Jersey, where he lead initiatives focused on Hand Hygiene Performance Improvement, Hospital-wide initiatives in the sustainability of hospital acquired Clostridum difficle infection, Strategies for reducing Central Line Bloodstream Infection, outbreak response efforts and managing infection control program.
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, six years focus on infection control and prevention and a strong background in Microbiology. Ndubuisi has contributed in advancing evidence-based practices, policy development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Ndubuisi holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from University of the Science in Philadelphia and board Certified in Infection Prevention and Control. Has co-authored an article in American Journal of Infection Control, also participated in symposium panelist and poster presenter in APIC conference, and poster presenter in the first LeapFrog Conference poster abstract.
Currently, Ndubuisi is aiming to continue to reduce infection risk in an acute care setting.Committed to education and mentorship, champion frontline staff engagement and data driven decision making.
