Joan Kramer, PharmD, BCPS, DPLA, is Senior Associate, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Inovalon, where she serves as a research leader to deliver real-world insights and health outcomes analyses in collaboration with health systems. She oversees the end-to-end process of multiple HEOR projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to delivery. Her research expertise includes leveraging a comprehensive understanding and analysis of clinician workflows, patient journeys, and medication safety to develop data-driven analytics tailored to site-specific and enterprise-level requirements. Dr. Kramer has co-authored over 19 peer-reviewed articles, serving as principal investigator for two grant funded medication history and reconciliation awards. She also serves on the HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine editorial board.
