Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participant will be able to verbalize the importance of early identification in controlling the spread of C. diff to the inpatient population.
  • Upon completion, participant will be able to understand how to use the early screening tool to properly identify patients at high-risk for C. diff on admission.
  • Upon completion, participant will be able to formulate a plan tailored to their facility's needs in order to begin to integrate the early screening process.
