Dr. Nancy Vuong is an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She is also the Co-director for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and residency program director for the PGY2 Infectious diseases pharmacy residency.
She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Biotechnology, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Texas Tech University, a PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacotherapy residency at the University of Houston/Cardinal Health, and then completed a two-year infectious diseases pharmacy fellowship at the University of Houston while also working as the HAI Coordinator for the Houston Health Department. She is board certified in both pharmacotherapy and infectious diseases, and has interests in antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacy education, pharmacy practice in the immunocompromised host, and public health.
