Frederick Cabasa, M.S. in Applied Statistics, is a Healthcare Analytics Consultant for TPMG Kaiser Permanente. Frederick has 20 years of experience in healthcare (payor and provider), finance, and population health areas with a Masters in Applied Statistics with an emphasis on machine learning, biostatistics, health care data analysis, and statistical inference Prior to joining Kaiser, he started his career in a disease management startup called Lifemasters. He eventually worked for several healthcare insurance related firms (Healthnet, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Milliman) and ACO consulting companies (Premier, Inc.). Prior to joining Kaiser, Frederick was a hospital analyst for a large hospital group in San Diego. He now works for TPMG Kaiser supporting hospital acquired infections, pediatric sepsis, Medicaid, and maternal and child health populations with a focus on analytics, data science, data visualization, and equity.
