Caroline Donovan, MSN, RN, CIC, ONC joined the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in October 2012 as an orthopedic postoperative nurse. In 2016, Caroline transferred to the Infection Prevention department. With 15 years of experience in healthcare, Caroline loves working with all disciplines in the hospital and uses her clinical experience to understand workflows of frontline staff. Caroline is proud of the work she has done at HSS, which includes leading the implementation of universal preoperative nasal decolonization.
Outside of work, Caroline loves spending time with her husband traveling the world!
Caroline holds a master’s degree in nursing education health from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova University.
