Bethany Phillips has been an infection preventionist since 2012 and is currently the Director of Infection Prevention focusing on the pediatric and neonatal programs at Advocate Health. Bethany has been a member of the APIC Practice Guidance Committee since 2019 and currently serves as the Chair and a liaison with The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). Bethany earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from University of Texas School of Public Health in 2012. She is an APIC fellow, CIC and HACP-IC certified and maintains a license in Medical Laboratory Science.
