Liz Shane brings over a decade of experience in local public health to her current role as a Project Manager for healthcare settings at the Chicago Department of Public Health. She leads a dedicated team of infection preventionists and administrative staff who provide training, technical assistance, and outbreak response support to Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Supportive Living facilities throughout Chicago. Liz is deeply committed to quality and process improvement, a passion she cultivated during her previous role as a Quality Improvement Specialist at Toronto Public Health. She also excels at building strong relationships with long-term care facility leadership, allowing for smoother collaborations in infection prevention and control work in these settings.
