Suzanne Felber LPN, AAS, CIC. Infection Preventionist with the Sentara Health System since 2008.
Sue started her professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1987. In 1995 she began a ten year journey working as an Occupational Health Nurse in an acute care hospital. This experience would help with her transition into the field of Infection Prevention and Control in 2005, where she realized her true professional passion. She has worked in several acute care hospitals, but transitioned to the Sentara system surveillance team in 2021, where she currently serves as IP data specialist.
She earned her Certification in Infection Prevention and Control in 2006 and maintains that credential today. In addition to her LPN, Sue obtained an Associates Degree in Health Care Administration in 2015.
Sue is a native New Yorker, but has been a Hampton Roads resident since 1988. She has two grown children and 4 grandchildren.
