Otis Arnold, MPH, REHS, CIC is an Infection Preventionist currently with Cleveland Clinic Akron General (CCAG). Otis holds a history of working in government regulatory compliance and infection prevention. Otis collaborates with individuals affecting patient care and infection prevention. Prior to joining CCAG, he worked with a local health department as an Environmental Health Specialist. He was responsible for conducting food inspections and other related duties. Otis also served as a lead communicable disease investigator during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Otis holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and a Master of Public Health. Both degrees were earned at Kent State University. Otis’ dedication to the field of Public Health allows him to introduce regulatory compliance and knowledge as an Environmental Health Specialist in specific areas of infection prevention such as pool water management, food safety, and facility inspections. During leisure time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
