Amanda Munoz MPH, CIC, is an Infection Preventionist within the Houston Methodist Hospital System. She entered the field of infection prevention with a background in Epidemiology and Public Health. Her passions within her job include disease prevention, patient safety, and innovation. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, working out, and spending quality time with friends and family. Ms. Munoz received her Bachelor of Science in public health from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas and her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas. She is certified in Infection Control (CIC).
