Infection Preventionist
Saint Alphonsus Health System
Boise, Idaho
As an APIC chapter board member and legislative representative, I serve as an infection preventionist at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, having obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2022, and CIC certification in 2024. My infection prevention background is in post acute care, and my current role is focused on acute care infection prevention. With a five-year tenure in healthcare, ranging from roles as a CNA/EMT to environmental health and epidemiology, my mathematical biology background provides a framework for my passion for health equity and data storytelling. I recently started my MPH in Data-Driven Decisions in August 2024. When not working, I’m often outdoors cycling, sewing, or enjoying time with my partner, Ben, and our kitties.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
