Mishga Moinuddin is a Senior Infection Preventionist with over 20 years of experience. Mishga attended the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Prior to infection, Mishga worked in clinical microbiology and virology research laboratories at the Texas Medical Center. Her experience in program management includes acute care, long-term acute care, rehabilitation, psychiatric, ambulatory care, and surgical specialty hospitals. She has experience in facility program assessment and management, outbreak and crisis management, regulatory agency preparedness, HAI validation, and auditing for regulatory agencies. Mishga also leads remote surveillance for many different organizations.
