Leticia M. Otoo, MPH is an Infection Prevention Specialist at Henry Ford Health. She earned her Master of Public Health degree with concentrations in Epidemiology, Health Education, and Health Management and Policy from Benedictine University and a certificate in Infection Prevention and Control from UCLA. She is currently focused on Aspergillus, CAUTI and Waterborne Pathogen surveillance. Prior to being an Infection Preventionist, she worked as a Research Epidemiologist at Henry Ford Health, and a contract Public Health Advisor for the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine of the CDC and provided childhood immunization education in Ghana, West Africa.
Working as an Infection Preventionist allows her the opportunity to collaboratively work with care teams and external stakeholders to deliver quality healthcare, improve patient outcome, and promote a healthy global community.
