Elsy Mady is a highly accomplished infection prevention specialist with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and has been a Certified Infection Control (CIC) professional since 2018, with recertification in 2024.
Her passion for infection prevention and public health education has driven her to dedicate her career to promoting best practices, ensuring patient safety, and mentoring healthcare professionals. Elsy has played a pivotal role in infection control policy development, outbreak management, and staff training in various healthcare settings.
Beyond her professional career, Elsy advocates for continuous education and community engagement.
She is developing an innovative mobile application designed to create a community hub for infection preventionists and the general public to access accurate information on infectious diseases and prevention strategies, and she leads future IPS worldwide through her commitment to the CIC Academy group to achieve their CIC.
Elsy is passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering others. In her free time, she enjoys listening to soft music, watching romantic and faith-based movies, and engaging in meaningful discussions about health and infection prevention.
