Infection Preventionist

Anna-Maria Zarembok, MPH, is an Infection Preventionist at Manning Family Children's in New Orleans. She received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Syracuse University. She applies data analysis to infection prevention efforts, using surveillance data to identify trends, improve patient safety, and reduce hospital-acquired infections. She is particularly passionate about expanding hospital surveillance beyond reportable conditions.
