Senior Infection Preventionist

Carey Dombecki MPH, CIC is a Senior Infection Preventionist at University of Michigan Health. She has worked in infection prevention for eleven years and is a project lead for both CLABSI prevention and MDRO prevention for the enterprise. Carey specializes in infection prevention for oncology and stem cell transplant patients. She is also responsible for tracking SSI among breast procedures. Throughout her career, Carey has worked with adult and pediatric oncology and stem cell transplant units, the adult medical ICU, and outpatient cancer center clinics and infusion centers.
