Geraldine Gutierrez comes with a vast nursing background. She has over 17 years of experience. She became an Infection Preventionist in the Acute Rehabilitation setting in 2019. She joined the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System Infection Prevention and Control team in March 2022 to serve the Veterans. She has been an Infection Preventionist for over 5 years. She was awarded a Scholarship from APIC in 2024 to obtain her Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
