Kymberly Lengyel is currently the Associate Administrator Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Prevention at Keck Medicine of USC. She has worked in Infection Prevention for 18 years. Experience includes Acute Care, Surgical Service, Oncology, Organ transplant, Ambulatory Care and Pediatric Subacute, each unique. Experience as a Registered Nurse included Medical Surgical, Critical Care, Post Anesthesia Care, Assistant Director Perioperative Services and Director of Infection Prevention/Employee Health Services. APIC member since 2003, served the Inland Empire Chapter as Director 2-year term and President 1-year term. Currently President for California APIC Coordinating Council. She has been a speaker at APIC Chapters “Infection Prevention Basic , CDPH HAI Training“, Health Service Advisory Group HSAG “Infection Prevention Mentorship” coordinated the AHMC HSAG webinar “All Hands on Deck to Reduce CDI”.Kymberly obtained a BSN, currently hold Certification through the Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) and the State of California as a Public Health Nurse.
