Assistant Vice President, Infection Prevention

Rachel Frederick, MPH, BSN, RN, CIC, is the Assistant Vice President of Infection Prevention and Control in the Inova Health System. She graduated from the University of Portland in 2010 before beginning a diverse nursing career, specializing in critical care. In 2017, she transitioned to Infection Prevention and has worked in a variety of facilities. In 2021, Rachel earned her graduate degree from the George Washington University. In her capacity as AVP, Rachel oversees five hospitals including a large tertiary care medical center, an ambulatory care program, and construction of multiple new facilities.
