Ms xiaoye was trained in critical care nursing, Bachelor of Science (Nursing). She holds a Certified in Infection Control (CICĀ®) certification (2024) and a member of infection control association (Singapore).
She is a dedicated nursing professional with over 14 years experience at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She began her career in the General Surgery Ward before transitioning to the Surgical ICU, where she provided critical care. Since 2020, she has been part of the Infection Prevention & Epidemiology (IPE) team, specializing in infection prevention and control.
She has led key initiatives, including the Audit Programme (2021-2022), Device-Associated Infection (DAI) Programme (2023), and Equipment Hygiene Programme (2024). She also co-led the Hand Hygiene Programme, successfully organizing Hand Hygiene Day 2024 and contributing to infection prevention training. Currently, holding surveillance programme.
Her dedication has earned her multiple awards, including the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Silver), Service with a HEART Award , and Commendation Medal (COVID-19) Award. She continues to drive infection prevention efforts, ensuring patient safety and mentoring junior colleagues in the field.
