Jennifer Sanguinet, DrPh, FAPIC, CPH, MBA-HCM, CIC, is currently the System Director Infection Prevention for Asante Healthcare. Jennifer is a 25+ year member of APIC, Jennifer’s career in Infection Prevention has included roles as Infectious Disease Response Leader, Employee Health Director, Information Systems Director, and Director of Infection Prevention.
While serving as the Director of Infection Prevention at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Los Angeles, she earned the HCA Clinical Excellence Award for Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) Prevention in 2016. Thereafter while working in Nevada, Jennifer served as co-chair of the Nevada Antimicrobial Stewardship Program as well as president of the APIC Southern Nevada Chapter 035.
She has been published in numerous publications, including the American Journal of Infection Control, on topics ranging from no-touch disinfection technologies, methods for reducing healthcare-associated infections, and collaboration between the infection prevention and microbiology departments. Jennifer has been a speaker at the APIC National Conference and the Infection Prevention and Control Annual Conference in the UK. She enjoys teaching, sharing, and learning about infection prevention and public health.
