Timothy Kelly, MS, MBA is Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at BD Urology and Critical Care. Tim holds master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and business administration. He has spent more than 30 years in the medical device and medical software industries at various firms including CR Bard, Dialog Medical, and Taylor Healthcare. Tim’s areas of interest include infection prevention, critical care medicine, and endourology.
An avid researcher, Tim designs both clinical studies and real-world data analyses that are constructed to evaluate the clinical and economic effects of various diseases and conditions. His 2024 publications include papers in the journals Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology, Annals of Intensive Care, and Infectious Diseases and Therapy. His real-world data analyses that have examined hospital-onset infections including CAUTI, HOB, and Clostridioides difficile.
Tim is a member of APIC, ISPOR, HIMSS and MAPS. He holds two US patents and one international patent.
