The interactive session will cover essential Microsoft Excel functions—including formulas, slicers, PivotTables, Power Query, and Power Pivot—to help create dynamic dashboards that enhance data-driven decision-making in infection prevention.
Target Audience: Infection Preventionists who have attended the "Data Storytelling for the Infection Preventionist" workshop or possess basic Excel skills and seek to advance their data analysis capabilities. The workshop is tailored for infection preventionists at all levels to leverage Excel to improve their infection control practices.
Format: The session will be interactive, featuring practical exercises, case studies, and real-world scenarios related to datasets frequently encountered in the healthcare setting related to infection prevention and control. Attendees can use a provided dataset or bring their own, with guidance on building an Excel dashboard from scratch. Emphasis will be on practical application and hands-on learning, ensuring participants can immediately apply their new skills.
